FAMILY & COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS
Embracing an intergenerational drama, art and / or storytelling aspects to create positive experiences.
Our classes and workshops include collaboration with many organisations, schools, community groups and include the Elective Home (Alternative) Education cohorts.
We also offer volunteering opportunities for those seeking to delve into the world of Youth Arts education and facilitation (with Enhanced DBS requirements). We encourage our volunteers to experience our Sankofa based approach drama 'on the job' and so offers a more rewarding and deeper understanding of our expectations and support.
This year our Community Workshops include:
1. 'Each One, Teach One - TRLA Edition' project. These drop in classes use the arts as a vehicle to explore, engage and promote an innovative approach to community participatory equity for children and young people. Delivered within Camden estates.
2. Adults and (separately) children's Wellness Drama Classes. Held within the studios of the Old Diorama Arts Centre, NW1. Download further information via our Linktr.ee page.
3. Winter Arts collaborations. Opportunities to visit enriching places, as part of our wellbeing programme.

MONTHLY WELLNESS CLASSES
Each monthly creative afternoon workshops are designed as two separate experiences. One uniquely for adults, another for children.
ADULTS MONTHLY WELLNESS CLASSES:
150 minutes reserved entirely for adults who want to try a different slant to address mindfulness and wellbeing. These experiences have no particular theme apart from the ones you share that illustrate your monthly; perseverance / grind / patience...
Nothing is minimised - we are all here to applaud, congratulate and share your micro (or even major), triumphs the past month has thrown your way. We create a mindful and reflective space to share those moments that have challenged us using drama, discussions and games to finally exhale and see things from another perspective.
We think it's an exciting way to spend a Saturday afternoon, once a month - with light refreshments thrown in during the last half hour to have a chat and network. Tickets via link below.
CHILDREN'S MONTHLY WELLNESS CLASSES.
This wellness day is four and a half hours of expressive arts designed to offer children a quiet space to reflect and encourage their sheer perseverance during their month. The world remains a challenging yet exciting place and the idea is to foster quiet confidence, agency and fun. They'll be spoilt with opportunities ranging from;
- Deep listening painting
- drama games
- movement & dance
- crafting in groups
These monthly workshops remain small with only fifteen places and are offered primarily to those who are in receipt of FSM or Universal Credit families.
